Welcome to the Porter House website. We offer fine dining in a relaxed, comfortable setting. We're located in a beautiful 100 year old country farmhouse in Eustis, Maine. Brian Anderson, the chef/owner, specializes in "New American" cuisine made with the highest quality ingredients, featuring many local and Maine made products. Upstairs you'll find the Blue Heron Pub, a casual & welcoming setting where you can get a drink, a glass of wine, or a light bite to eat.

About The House

T he house was built for Mr. and Mrs. Florin Porter in 1908 to their exact specifications. Mr. Porter was a jeweler, using what is now the coat room as his shop. He also traveled to outlying logging camps in the area to sell his wares. The house continued to be a private home until January 1985, when the restaurant opened its doors so that others could enjoy its country charm.
